The first in the Zintek Technical Papers series, excerpted from the Titanium-zinc in Architecture study, addresses the integration of photovoltaic, solar thermal and hybrid systems into double-lock standing-seam titanium-zinc roofs. The paper covers the B_ROOF (t3) fire classification of the zintek^® system, the various types of clamps and anchoring solutions for panel fixing, the design of fall-arrest lines and snow-guard systems compatible with the installation, construction details of the roof build-up, and solutions for flush integration with the roofing surface.

It closes with a selection of completed projects — including the Prysmian headquarters in Milan, the Tina Anselmi Primary School in Marcon, and the Le Albere neighboorhood in Trento — documenting the different application configurations of the system.
