110 Busselli Scherer PER LA DIREZIONE LAVORI DELLE SCUOLE PROFESSIONALI MARCONI–LÉVINAS Le Scuole Professionali Marconi–Lévinas, a Merano, sono un complesso scolastico dalle numerose funzioni interne, dotato di ambienti complessi, come le officine meccaniche ed elettroniche, un involucro esterno caratterizzato da tre diversi sistemi costruttivi e uno sviluppo su sette livelli dove ogni piano è a sé. Se dovessimo scegliere un aggettivo per definire la Direzione Lavori affidata al nostro studio, sviluppata in sinergia con i progettisti dell’opera, sarebbe: stimolante. Mese dopo mese, questa Direzione Lavori ci ha esortato a confrontarci con sfide realizzative ambiziose rappresentate dalle variegate necessità funzionali richieste dal programma e dalle diverse soluzioni tecniche in gioco, con un focus particolare sulla facciata. Consapevoli di quanto il contesto formativo incida sul rendimento scolastico, abbiamo lavorato a stretto contatto con le realtà coinvolte nella realizzazione dell’opera, mossi dal desiderio di concretizzare il progetto in ogni suo dettaglio, portare a soluzione aspetti tecnici rilevanti e dar vita a un luogo di apprendimento votato all’eccellenza, al senso d’appartenenza e all’inclusione. A realizzazione ultimata questa rilevante struttura, collocata nella periferia produttiva meranese, si popolerà di ragazzi e ragazze che, anno dopo anno, si specializzeranno in una professione, arricchendo il territorio di nuova energia. L’edilizia scolastica è futuro e prospettiva. A noi l’onore di poterla concretizzare. Busselli Scherer WORKS MANAGEMENT FOR THE MARCONI–LÉVINAS SCHOOL COMPLEX The Marconi–Lévinas school complex in Merano is an educational establishment that brings together numerous functions. It includes elaborate spaces like mechanical and electronics workshops, its building envelope combines three different construction systems, and each of its seven storeys has a unique design. If we had to choose one word to describe the works management entrusted to our firm and developed in partnership with the project’s architects, it would be “stimulating”. Month after month, the variety of functional requirements planned for the structure and the range of technical solutions employed, in particular for the façade, posed monumental construction challenges. Pupils’ surroundings can have a significant impact on their performance at school, and with this in mind, we worked closely with the organizations involved in completing the project, driven by the desire to successfully implement every last detail in the design, resolve the major technical issues, and create a place of learning devoted to excellence, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging. When the work is complete, this large structure in an industrial zone on the outskirts of the city will be filled with young men and women specializing in various professions, who will go on to energize the local area. Educational architecture is all about perspective and looking to the future, and we have the honour of making it happen.
