Privacy Policy Statement in accordance with Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679

1. Data Controller
Zintek S.r.l. with registered offices at Via delle Industrie 22, 30175 Porto Marghera, Venice (Italy) (the “Company”, “Zintek” or the “Data Controller”) hereby ensures compliance with rules and regulations concerning the protection of personal data either communicated or in any case, collected while browsing on this website.

2. Data processed, purposes of and the legal basis for data processing
Data generated through access to the website
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during the course of their normal operation, some personal data, which implicitly need to be sent in order to use internet communication protocols. 
This data (such as domain names, IP addresses, the operating system used, the type of browser device used for internet access) is not accompanied by any additional personal data and is used to:
i) Obtain anonymous statistics on the use of the website;
ii) Manage needs to control the methods of use of the same;
iii) Establish responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes. 
The legal basis that legitimises the processing of such data is the need to make the website functions usable following the user’s access.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
The personal data provided by the user through forms is collected and processed for the following purposes:
a. To carry out customer relations activities in accordance with contractual agreements (e.g. giving feedback on requests for information or of a commercial nature, reporting updates, acquiring preliminary information aimed at defining a contractual relationship, proposing commercial offers, providing training materials and certificates);
b. For administrative purposes, in order to fulfil activities closely linked and instrumental in managing relations with users as well as to fulfil legal obligations such as those regarding accounting, tax, or to carry out requests put forward by a judicial authority;
c. After specific consent has been obtained, to periodically send newsletters and advertising material via e-mail;
d. After specific consent has been obtained, to receive updates on our activities and to report the publication of posts on our blog;
e. After specific consent has been obtained, to receive communications exclusively from Zintek Srl. relating to sales promotions and invitations to events, training courses, webinars, special promotions or to take part in statistical analysis and market research;
f. In curricula vitae are sent, exclusively for selection purposes.
The legal basis that legitimises the processing of such data is either the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken in response to the request put forward by the same. In expressly indicated cases (points c., d., e.) the legal basis is the consent that has been voluntarily given by the data subject.

3. Nature of data provision
Apart from what has already been specified with regards to browsing data, the provision of data:
• In accordance with the purposes specified in letters a., b. and f. is optional; however, the refusal to do so will make it impossible for Zintek to fulfil any contractual commitments undertaken;
• In accordance with purposes specified in letters c., d. and e. is also optional and its use is subject to the provision of explicit consent. The refusal to do so will make it impossible for Zintek to send any newsletters and advertising material or invitations to Zintek events or initiatives.

4. Methods of data processing and conservation period
The data collected will be processed with the aid of electronic or, in any case, automated, computerised and telematic tools, or by carrying out manual processing of such using logic strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data has been collected and, in any case, so as to guarantee the security of the same. The data is retained for the time strictly necessary so as to manage the purposes for which the data itself has been collected in compliance with current applicable legislation and legal obligations.
In any case, Zintek implements rules that prevent the indefinite retention of data and therefore limits the conservation period in accordance with the data processing minimisation principle.

5. Individuals authorised to control, process and communicate data
The processing of the data collected is carried out by Zintek employees who, for this specific purpose, have been identified and authorised to carry out such operations in accordance with specific instructions given in compliance with current applicable legislation.
If deemed necessary or instrumental in implementing the purposes indicated, the data collected can be processed by third parties appointed as External Data Processors, or rather, as the case may be, communicated to the same in their capacity as autonomous data controllers, more specifically including:
• Societies belonging to our group of companies for the purposes specified in point 2, letters a., b. and f.;
• Individuals, societies, associations or professional firms that provide assistance and consultancy services to our Company, for the purposes specified in point 2, letters b. and f.;
• Societies, authorities, associations that provide services associated with and instrumental in the implementation of the abovementioned purposes (e.g. maintenance of IT systems).
The data collected will not be transferred abroad.
In any case, personal data will never be disclosed unless explicit authorisation to do so has been obtained from the data subject.

6. Rights of the data subject
At any time whatsoever, it is possible for the data subject to access his/her data, to oppose the processing or request the cancellation, modification or updating of all the personal data collected by Zintek, exercising the right relating to the restriction on processing as well as the right regarding data portability, by sending an e-mail to: ced@zintek.it.
